What to expect

Briefing
Land drill on breathing, hand signals and buoyancy — about 20 minutes.

Gear up
Wetsuit, tank and mask fitted by your instructor; a shallow-water comfort check first.

In the water
A guided 45-minute dive along the shore reef, depth eased into gradually.

Debrief
Rinse, dry off and a quick photo review of what you saw.

Meeting point & know before you go
Barefoot Scuba dive centre, Beach No. 3, Havelock
- Minimum age 10; under-18s need a guardian's signature
- Not advised within 24 hours of flying (post-dive)
- Contact lenses are fine — bring a spare case
- Reef-safe sunscreen only, applied before arrival

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your slot. Weather cancellations by the dive centre are rebooked or refunded in full.
